Kia ora tātou
I hope you are enjoying the spring days. As we head towards the end of Semester Two, 2024 continues to be filled with many positive achievements.
Centre for Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CIE) celebrates 21 years Last week marked CIE’s 21st anniversary. This is a timely milestone as innovation and entrepreneurship, alongside commercialisation of research at the highest levels, are crucial to the future of higher education. Fittingly, these efforts were recognised with the University named top for the second consecutive year in a survey highlighting the most active start-up and spin-out companies in New Zealand and Australia. Learn more about the CIE’s journey and achievements in the 21 years of smart ideas newshttps://www.auckland.ac.nz/en/news/2024/10/14/CIE-21-years-21-highlights.html story and the survey results in the University at number one in SCOPR surveyhttps://www.auckland.ac.nz/en/news/2024/10/16/university-of-auckland-number-one-scopr-survey.html article.
