Growing public health crisis in Dunedin

A Public Health Meeting hosted by Dunedin MPs, Clare Curran and David Clark will be held this Friday at the Hunter Centre, located corner Great King Street & Fredrick Street to discuss the serious state of health issues in the region.

Labour Spokesperson for Health, the Hon. Annette King will lead the panel discussion and open questions from the floor.

“We have a pressure-cooker situation building in Otago and Southland health services, with work pressure from funding cuts and a growing climate of fear in the sector,” Clare Curran said.

Note to Editors: This is a venue change from the previously advertised Barnett Lecture Theatre.
