Nominations open for sports, arts and cultural blues awards

Nominations are now open for the sports, arts and cultural blues awards for 2012.

The blues awards are an annual tradition, with the sports blues dating back to 1922, which recognises the highest achievements of students at regional, national and international level. It is awarded to students who are enrolled at the University.

2011 recipients of sporting blues include Teneale Hatton, who will be competing at the London Olympics, and Elizabeth Lamb, who competed at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
