CTU Komiti Pasifika supports Advance Pasifika

The CTU's Komiti Pasifika supports the Advance Pasifika organisation and its goals says Komiti Pasifika convenor, Natalie Faitala, and will be joining in the Advance Pasifika march for the rights of Pasifika people in New Zealand tomorrow.

Natalie Faitala says "the messages of Advance Pasifika have resonated with Pacific people of all ages and walks of life. We are joining the Advance Pasifika march to highlight the need for affordable housing, better educational outcomes, quality healthcare and decent jobs and a living wage for Pacific people in New Zealand."

"Church and community groups, students, work groups and union members from many different sectors, all preparing to support this initiative."

"There will definitely be a strong collective voice speaking out on these issues and calling local and national leaders to influence the changes needed for a more equitable society."

The Advance Pasifika March for our Future is on tomorrow, Saturday 16 June, 9am Albert Park.
