FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
The Otago University Students’ Association is today celebrating the launch of its new brand and logo. The following events will be taking place on campus:
8am: Champagne Breakfast in the Link, free entry to 200 students plus invited guests.
10am – 4pm: Radio 1 Market Day, held in the University Union and featuring local live bands The Taliband and Native. Also featuring stalls with giveaways showcasing the following departments or subsidiaries of OUSA: OUSA Main Office, OUSA Executive, OUSA Events, OUSA Student Support Centre, OUSA Media, OUSA Clubs and Societies, plus University Book Shop, and Unipol.
12pm – 2pm: Sumo wrestling held on the lawn outside the East Lane of the Information Services Building
12pm – 2pm: Horse rides between OUSA and the OUSA Clubs and Societies Centre on Albany Street
All Day: free snooker, pool, sauna, and free “$3” lunches at the OUSA Clubs and Societies Centre
All Day: The OUSA Snowboarding jam, held on the Union Lawn and featuring some of New Zealand’s top snowboarders
6pm: The Inaugural OUSA Wearable Art Awards, a dazzling event showcasing student talent.
From 5pm: The OUSA International Food Festival, held outside in the University Union and featuring a menu provided by various OUSA cultural societies.
From 8pm: Free gig with Dunedin bands HayMan!, the Tweeks, The ‘Bones and Auckland’s Charlie Ash!
